I automated 70% of my short-video publishing — and why you shouldn't just trust Claude's plan (Part 1)

Most “one-click, fully automated, AI prints money” tutorials skip the two things that actually decide whether the thing survives: your real business logic, and the platform’s own risk controls. I’ve automated about 70% of my publishing flow across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts — and the honest version is that if you copy Claude’s proposed architecture wholesale, you’ll most likely turn a simple problem into a complicated one and walk straight into the pitfalls.

Automation isn’t letting go blindly. It’s a precise division of labour between you and the machine. This is Part 1 of the series — the logic-and-pitfalls episode, before any tooling gets touched.

What’s coming next

The next episode is a screen recording of the real build: the concrete tool connections, API triggers, and prompt templates, step by step. After that, an upgraded version of the Claude auto-editing setup, once enough cases have piled up.

If you want the editing half of this while you wait, the Claude Code auto-editing pipeline is the piece that gets upgraded in a later episode. And the daily AI stack covers the tools that sit around a flow like this one.
